Health Class Story

Chris was a kid that liked to play basketball. He loved it because it kept him exercising and from being a lazy. One day after losing a very important game he went home thinking that he was the worst player ever and wished he had never even picked up a basketball, but his dad told him that if he kept thinking like that he would become the worst player because he would start making simple mistakes that would cause him to lose more games. So the next day he went into his basketball game thinking that he was the best player ever and he didn't make any mistakes and scored 23 points. After the game his teammates congratulated him and many players from the other team came to socialize with Chris and tell him that he was a good basketball player.

Playing basketball involves all four areas of health.
It involves physical health because it keeps you working out by running a lot and it keeps you fit.
It involves mental health because positive thinking keeps you from from making mistakes that could cost your team the win.
It involves emotional health because positive feelings keep you working hard and it keeps you from feeling depressed.
It also involves social health because you get to interact with many people and you will make many new friends.
